Agung
The prime example to talk about is Agung.
This iconic light takes its name from one of the most important volcanoes on the Indonesian island.
The Italian stylists of Anima Soul Light’s team decided to recall in their design the almost-perfectly conical form of the mount, creating a harmonious balance that reshapes the significant role of this natural element in Bali’s tradition. Agung, in fact, is supposed to be a replica of Mt. Meru – that is what in Buddhism and Hinduism is believed to be the axis of the Universe.
Ubud
Another iconic lamp that deserves to be mentioned is Ubud.
This light takes its name not from a natural element but from a famous urban center known for its flourishing tourism.
Here art, customs, and religious beliefs perfectly combine in a ground that elevates itself towards the sky with its steep ravines. For decades, the always-green rice paddies and the beautiful Puri Saren Agung temple have fascinated thousands of artists worldwide -such as Charlie Chaplin- and the Anima Soul Light’s stylists could not help honoring this enchanting land in a clean-lined and functional lamp.
Payung
Like some of the traditional Indonesian umbrellas, the model of this lamp is divided into two almost equal and reflected parts not only to recall the shape of typical “payungs” but also to symbolize what they are meant for: to protect those who hold them from both the sun and the rain.

Tanah Lot
At the end of the Anima Soul Light’s collection, a lamp that reminds one of the most important temples in all Indonesian archipelago could not miss, the “Pura Tanah Lot”.
Tanah Lot is a large offshore rock formation that has been shaped continuously by the ocean waves and tides for centuries. In fact, its name means “Land in the sea”. It was only in the 16th century that a traveler, Dang Hyang Nirartha, decided to build a temple to worship the Balinese gods of the sea together with the natives who lived there.
Anima Soul Light’s team took the exterior tower that characterizes most Hindu temples, the so-called “shikhara”, and remodeled it in an iconic design that appears sinuous and essential at the same time.
